Competitive intensity as a result of increased leisure orientation
On the one hand, customers’ increasing travel and leisure orientation is leading to increased demand throughout the entire travel and mobility industry. On the other hand, the intensity of competition between individual providers is increasing. Particularly affected are companies which have specialised in selecting and selling destinations and venues.
